Get off the beaten path with a Forest Preserve District of Kane County Naturalist! During these guided hikes, we’ll discuss the seasonal changes in the woodlands of Elburn Forest Preserve and interpret discoveries made along the trails. Each session will focus on a different part of the woodland habitat, from local wildlife to tree communities to geologic formations. After the hike, join us in the stone shelter for a read-aloud story time.
