Our History & Genealogy Manager, Laura Chaplin (also owner of Willowtree Research Genealogy Services), will do her best to help you whether you need advice on genealogy research, insight into your favorite online research site, training on a database software, or whatever else you dream up!  All one-hour appointments are free, “first-come-first-served.”  These are offered most Thursday afternoons at 3:00 pm (other than the 1st Thursday of the month due to our Genealogy Seekers group).  Sign up for as many dates as you need!

If you can’t seem to find time to spend on your family history research at home – come on down to use the library’s many online subscription sites or catch up with genealogy friends (even get crowd-sourced advice for your puzzling problems)!  The whole facility is open just for us!  These roughly quarterly Friday 5 – 9 pm sessions are ultra-casual and fun. 

Shareable snacks are most welcome, but not required.  Participants may even pool funds to order pizza!
