Program Description

Event Details

After a long, dark winter, the emergence of ephemeral wildflowers in our woodlands signals the welcome start of spring. Barb McKittrick, Environmental Education Manager of the Forest Preserve District of Kane County, will share her secrets for some of the best local walks to discover spring ephemerals. Learn about the different species that bloom right here in our region and where best to find them!

The Garden Club will meet on the third Monday of the month. As the year progresses, we'll exchange seeds, plants, harvests and tips.
