Let’s go exploring, Garden Club! Garfield Farm Museum is offering this guided walk of its prairie area, led by Jerome Johnson, the museum’s biologist. With the full arrival of summer, the native plants of Northern Illinois begin to express their lush, robust growth. With a good moisture regime through the summer, many of the tallest plants may reach their maximum heights before summer's end. Garfield Farm is on Garfield Road just north of Illinois Route 38 between Geneva and Elburn, Illinois. Garfield Road is about 3 miles west of Randall Road which is at the west edge of Geneva and St Charles. From Illinois Route 38 go north on Garfield Road about 1/4 mile to Garfield Farm.

The Garden Club will meet on the third Monday of the month. As the year progresses, we'll exchange seeds, plants, harvests and tips.
