Program Description

Event Details

Travel back in time to the days when radio was a "theater of the mind," offering sounds that allowed listeners to create their own vivid--and frightening--"pictures." Radio historian Steve Darnall presents samples of radio's most famous mystery and horror series, including "Suspense," "Inner Sanctum," "Lights Out" and many more! This program is taking place in-person, only.

Steve Darnall is a writer and radio historian who hosts the weekly radio shows "Those Were the Days" and "Radio's Golden Age." He is also the editor and publisher of "Nostalgia Digest," a quarterly publication dedicated to celebrating the Golden Age of entertainment.

Bring your lunch; desserts provided!
