Join us for a monthly workshop featuring projects and books inspired by the topic of color. Participants will learn about color, color theory, primary/secondary colors, art styles, how cultures use color, and famous artists known for their work with color

Festival of Color
In this workshop, explore bright vibrant colors and cultural art forms. Indian culture/art, and Japanese artist Motoi Yamamoto will be highlighted. Join us as we make a Rangoli design. Book: Festival of Colors –Surishtha Sehga

Yamamoto is a known for working with salt, often in the form of temporary large-scale installations. Rangoli is an art form, originating in the Indian subcontinent, in which patterns are created on the floor or the ground using materials such as colored rice, colored sand, quartz powder, flower petals, and colored rocks.
