Remembered as the Lady of the Lamp, Florence Nightingale was the founder of the modern nursing profession who served on the front lines of the Crimean War in 1854 as Superintendent of Nursing for the British Military. She later established a training program for nurses at St. Thomas’ Hospital in London. Fierce and determined, Florence fought against Victorian expectations to fulfill her calling. To celebrate Women's History Month, join performer and storyteller Megan Wells as she brings to life this famous historical figure.
