Event Details

This program will be offered in a hybrid format with both in-person and virtual options.

In nearly five hundred collective seasons, Chicago team sports are, sadly, not known for much when it comes to championships. However, Our Town's teams have contributed mightily when it comes to lore, legend, and laughs. From Babe Ruth's "Called Shot" to "Disco Demolition Night" to "The Flu Game," Chicago's teams have brought home many, many stories. To learn more please join Clarence Goodman for "Black Sox, Billy Goats, and da' Monsters of da' Midway: Chicago Team Sports History."
