This program will be held VIRTUALLY.

At this presentation we welcome author and UIC Professor Emeritus John D'Emilio to discuss the history of LGBTQ activism in this country from the 1950s, to the Stonewall uprising in 1969, through the present day. You'll learn about the beginnings of activism that lead up to Stonewall, as well as the rise of right-wing organized reaction, and the impact the AIDS epidemic has had.
