Event Details

This customized program takes participants on an imaginative journey exploring several dances from Central and South America including Brazil (Samba), Cuba (Mambo), Dominican Republic (Merengue), Mexico (Quebradita) and Argentina (Tango), while using authentic dance and music as a way to experience other cultures. Class starts with an Ice Breaker exercise that introduces the workshops cultural focus. This is followed by a physical warm-up and choreographic sequence that relates to a cultural dance.
