Send your young readers on an adventure with the Center for American Archeology. This 90-minute program includes a reading of "Archaeologists Dig for Clues" with a show and tell of archaeology tools and artifact types. Then there will be a hands-on "trash bin" excavation activity where kids get to sort through bins of recyclables to learn how archaeologists use methods of sorting, classification, and analysis to tell the stories of people who left artifacts.
