A Celebration of Women's History Month: Women of Natural History

Celebrate Women's History Month with us! In this program you will meet some of the women that have made contributions to our understanding of natural history, from Queen Hatshepsut (1458 B.C.E.) to today’s Jane Goodall. Many women, proficient in a scientific or natural history discipline, were informally educated or self-taught, and rarely given the credit they deserved during their lifetimes, and many have never been fully recognized for their accomplishments. Kim White’s research and lifelong interest in the natural world has led her to develop this special program.
