The guys from Do Art Productions bring energy and a dynamic perspective to poetry. This workshop will focus on short free verse and Haiku poems, emphasizing the awareness of the moment when not only writing poetry, but experiencing poetry. Participants will have the opportunity to write on a typewriter and learn to write a free verse poem in the moment. This workshop will attempt to not only explain, but show the value of, poetry, particularly in moments when regular words are just not enough.
