Ocean Adventures in Writing
Come along for Ocean Adventures in Writing as we form an under-the-sea community of fanciful characters, much like the beloved movie Finding Nemo. In this fun and interactive class, we will learn to develop characters, settings, and plots while discussing the basic elements of literature. Can the shark brigade defend Shell City from the attack of the giant squid? Will the dolphins sew their tutus for the water ballet in time? What happens when all the shell phones in the city mysteriously disappear? You decide! The culmination will be a written and illustrated book and Flashlight Theater.
Students must be able to write several sentences together.
