Do you love reading and want to share what you have read with your friends? Are you looking for new book recommendations? This program is geared towards teens that love to read and talk about books they have read.

Bring your friends and join Mrs. Hansen for a tween/teen book club. We will be serving a light snack (or bring your own) and listening to a chapter book being read aloud. Copies of the book will be available for check out.

Embroidery is a way to embellish any accessory or garment, by sewing with a variety of texture stitches, and with colorful threads. First, we will create a booklet of basic stitches.

This event is part of a combined series. If you register for this event, you will be automatically registered for all of the following events in the series.

Women have played a part in astronomical discoveries for centuries—but many of their stories are overlooked or untold.

Join us for a tail waggin’ good time as you practice reading aloud to trained therapy dogs in the library.  Children are invited to stop by the library and read, or just visit, for 10-15 minutes.

Join the fun! Indulge in your creativity and nurture your inner artist!  Enjoy hanging out with your friends, while creating some art & trying out different artists’ techniques!

Let's work together on our writing projects! Participate in word wars, pick a prompt (if you like), and enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the library as you develop your work in progress.

Help us decorate for Spring by painting the library windows. We provide the materials. You provide the creativity!

Drop in anytime between 5:30pm-7:30pm to create your very own springtime wreath using a wire frame and silk flowers!
